This 1895cc BMW Z3 was built in March 1999 (with 14 option codes), and registered in the UK in May of that year, supplied new by Cheyne BMW to Lex Vehicle Leasing. The fitments included power steering, ABS, electric windows, electric seats, air conditioning, central locking manual transmission, metallic paint, hood cover, alarm, warning triangle, service indicator, tool kit, locking wheel nuts, alloy wheels, automatic stability control, air bags, BMW Business CD radio (coded).

After three years, at 21,056 miles, the car passed to a lady owner. A year later, with 34,471 miles showing, it passed onto a solicitor who kept it for two years. The fourth owner acquired it in June 2005 with 47,196 miles but apparently found it difficult to get in and out of and so only kept it for eight months. It then passed onto its most recent private owner in February 2006, with 48,920 miles. Over 16 years on, the odometer shows 92,112 miles and we're told has been dry‑stored when not in use.

The BMW presents very well, albeit with some expected stonechipping apparent on the nose. The hood is in good order, although the plastic rear screen shows some marking. However, a new boxed rear window is supplied, with fitting instructions. There's also a spare set of keys, with remote control key fob, locking wheelnut key and radio code.

The history folder is an extensive one and includes the current and past V5Cs, MoT print‑out, and MoT certificates 2022 back to 2005. The current MoT is valid until May 2023. There are also old tax discs, invoices from throughout the car's life, the new car handover pack and the original book pack ‑ with European dealership guide, dealer warranty and emergency service handbook, and owner's manual. There's also a duplicate service book with entries through to 89,655 miles in July 2017, albeit with the last two services (2016 and 2017) being DIY ones.
